She has trained in a number of external and internal martial arts systems since 1989, and currently practices Kung Fu and teaches Tai Chi Chuan classes in Worcester and several surrounding towns. Jo has been working with both people and animals as a holistic healer since 2001 when she embarked upon her spiritual path.

Jo has served internships at Pathways to Wellness (formerly the AIDS Care Project) and The Wellness Center in Boston, and at Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center and Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury prior to establishing Harmony Holistic Health in 2006. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
